| THERMO-TEK LTD has introduced Hydro-TekTM, a coating developed to repel all forms of moisture and resist water penetration for up to 10 years Hydro-TekTM can be used for commercial and residential applications. The cost is about the same as other so-called water proofing coatings, but with ten times the life — without yellowing.

Hydrol-TekTM may be applied to concrete, brick, and wood by brush, roller and/ or low-pressure spray. Best application is on a porous base material because surfactant within the silicon constituents carries the coating into the host material. Hydro-TekTM is so effective as a water barrier that it is not recommended for smooth horizontal surfaces.
